Week-by-Week
The Full 12-Week Program
Every session, at a glance: what it builds toward, and what you walk away with
Each 2-hour live session pairs a short teaching segment with real breakout practice in a small group, so every week ends with something built, not just something heard.
Connection
We start by building real safety in the group, and getting honest about where you're actually starting from: why connection is a protective factor through life transition, not a "nice to have," and how isolation quietly compounds self-doubt. In a paired share, you'll trade one high point and one hard point from the past year, your first experience of the peer coaching that runs through the whole program. You'll leave with your Whole-Life Balance Baseline, a short self-assessment across work, home, and self that becomes your comparison point in Week 12.
Intention
This week moves you from a vague wish to feel better to a defined destination across all three life domains, the difference between intention-setting and goal-setting, starting from what's already strong in you rather than what's broken. A life-wheel look across work, home, and self leads into naming one clear intention per domain with the group. You'll leave with your Personal Intention Statement: one sentence per domain.
Resilience (R)
We reframe resilience away from bouncing back and toward self-leadership, building someone new rather than returning to who you were, using the GRIT model: Ground, Recognize, Initiate, Trust. In a peer-coached walkthrough, you'll apply it to a real recent moment where something threw you off course. You'll leave with a completed GRIT worksheet, an extended version of the free GRIT lead magnet, deepened here with live peer coaching.
Emotional Regulation (E)
You'll build the capacity to notice and regulate emotion in the moment, rather than suppressing it or being run by it: nervous system basics, "name it to tame it," and the specific physiological shifts of midlife that affect emotional reactivity. You'll practise a regulation technique live, with peer observation and feedback. You'll leave with three go-to regulation techniques, chosen and tested by you.
Love (L)
This week looks at how self-doubt shows up relationally, at home and at work, and rebuilds the practice of self-compassion, drawing on self-compassion research and reframing boundaries as an act of love, not selfishness or conflict. You'll get peer coaching on one real relationship, with yourself or someone else, where a boundary or more self-compassion is needed. You'll leave having committed to one boundary or self-compassion practice for the coming week.
Engagement (E)
You'll reconnect to what genuinely energises you across work and home, not just what feels obligatory: flow and strengths-based engagement, applying what's already strong to the actual shape of a normal week. You'll map your current week's activities as drain versus engagement, and share the pattern with the group. You'll leave with a clear picture of where your energy actually goes, plus one micro-shift to test in the week ahead.
Awareness (A)
This week deepens your awareness of recurring thought patterns and self-talk, especially the ones that quietly sabotage without being noticed: inner critic versus inner mentor, and how unseen thought patterns shape decisions at work, at home, and in self-judgment. You'll share one recurring pattern and hear what the group notices from the outside. You'll leave with a pattern-awareness journal prompt to continue independently.
Strengths (S)
You'll identify your strengths clearly enough to actively use them, not just acknowledge them: strengths-based psychology, and the specific blind spots common in midlife women who've spent years focused outward. In strength-spotting, each woman in the group names a strength she sees in another. You'll leave with your Personal Strengths Map, plus one place to deliberately apply a top strength that week.
Energy (E)
This week builds sustainable energy management across work, home, and self, treating energy as a resource to protect, not just time to schedule: energy as finite and renewable, and the specific energy costs of midlife, caregiving, career load, physiological shifts. Looking back across a real week, you'll name one energy leak and one source worth protecting. You'll leave with a plan for guarding it.
Synthesis
We bring all seven RELEASE pillars together into one coherent, personal plan, and you'll see directly how far your Week 1 baseline has shifted: this is integration week, reviewing your Whole-Life Balance Baseline against everything you've built since. You'll share your emerging synthesis with the small group and get reflection on what's changed. You'll leave with a draft of your Personal RELEASE Plan, the one document that holds all of it together.
Sustaining Change
This week builds the practical skills to keep the shift going after the program ends, not just understanding the pillars, but sustaining them: behaviour change science, and treating setbacks as part of growth rather than evidence of failure, the same "outgrown, not obsolete" principle applied to the whole journey. You'll form accountability pairs or pods for ongoing support. You'll leave with a 90-Day Sustain Plan and an assigned accountability partner.
Forward Plan
We close by consolidating your whole-life balance vision, marking the growth you've made, and setting a concrete next chapter: integration and identity, who you're becoming, not just what you've learned. You'll share your forward plan aloud, and the group closes with reflection and acknowledgment. You'll leave with your finalised Personal RELEASE Plan, plus a written Week 1 versus Week 12 comparison, your own record of exactly what changed.
